Weekly homework to maximise progress throughout the year
Preparation is a key part ensuring success in the 11 Plus exam, which is why finding the right tutor is so important.
Despite the rigours of the National Curriculum, much of the exam content differs from what the children learn in school. Most aspects of the verbal reasoning are not taught in school and non – verbal reasoning isn’t covered at all; therefore, it is vital that your child has the opportunity to develop the relevant skills, conceptual understanding and confidence required to give them the best chance of success. Aim High will equip your child with all the relevant skills needed to perform well in the CEM exams.
In my first year of tutoring for the 11 Plus, despite having only tutored the majority of the students for less than six months from the exam date, Aim High secured a pass rate of 75%. The current cohort of Year 5 students are on track to well exceed this figure as they have had the benefit of being tutored at Aim High since Year 4.
